Guessed low? Every plan here tops up from My eSIM — start small, add data any time.
Your data runs on named local networks — the same ones people there use every day.
Reliable coverage in Punta Cana, Santo Domingo and Samaná. Resort hotel zones are well connected; some remote areas on the north coast can be patchy.
Access to supported 4G/5G networks. Coverage and speeds vary by location and network availability.
Install at home, over Wi-Fi
One tap in the app, or scan the QR code from your confirmation email. Usually a few minutes over Wi-Fi.
Land, switch on data and roaming
Turn on Data Roaming for the eSIM line. Most plans activate on the first supported network they find.
Trip runs long? Top up
Add data from My eSIM — no reinstall, no new eSIM.
4 things nearly everyone asks before their first eSIM.
Most plans start the first time your phone connects to a supported network at your destination. When you land, set your travel eSIM as the line for mobile data and turn on Data Roaming for it.
Yes. Voyevia eSIMs are data-only — your primary SIM and phone number stay completely active for calls, SMS, and WhatsApp. You use the Voyevia eSIM for data and your regular SIM for everything else.
Most iPhones from XS onwards and many modern Android devices (Samsung Galaxy S21+, Google Pixel 3+) support eSIM. Check Settings → Mobile Data on iPhone or Settings → Connections → SIM Manager on Android and look for an Add eSIM option.
Top-up is available on compatible plans from My eSIMs — no reinstall or new QR code needed. If your plan can't be topped up, you can add a new plan anytime.
